Three big mistakes that hurt sales productivity: 1/ Entering data manually When a team is bogged down by manual data entry, it affects everything — leading to slower sales cycles, unreliable forecasts, and a whole lot of time spent fixing mistakes instead of closing deals. 2/ Adding weak context This could be CRM entries that are just a few words long (e.g., just “customer interested”) and lacking any real detail or nuance. It results in a thin view of the customer that makes follow-ups less effective and leaves other reps guessing what the customer actually needed. 3/ Having a dirty CRM A CRM with bad data is a nightmare. It causes confusion, wastes time, and makes accurate reporting nearly impossible. With unclean data, a team can spend more time searching for information than selling. Things have changed. Yesterday, the Momentum team finished off a busy week of events with two more on opposite sides of the country! 🤯 First, Ashley Wilson and Moiz Virani rang the opening bell at the NYSE with FirstMark. Just practice for when Momentum IPOs in a few years. 😉 Then, they followed it up with a summit and dinner hosted by FirstMark with some amazing speakers, including Jason Robins (CEO of DraftKings Inc.), Katie Burke (Chief People Officer at HubSpot), Jocelyn Moore (board director at multiple companies), Charles Duhigg (Pulitzer prize-winning journalist), Ben Mezrich (best-selling author), and Wyc Grousbeck (Owner of the Boston Celtics). At the same time, on the West Coast, Santiago Suarez Ordoñez and Joseph Phillips presented at the CIO Marathon hosted by the Consortium of Information Systems Executives (CISE). Momentum was featured alongside other innovative startups: MonetizeNow, GoLinks, Advantage, Acceldata, and ConductorOne. It was a productive week of networking and learning, with 5 total events.
