    Someone shit on the first version of our site. To be honest, we deserved it.. Here's the story: I got a LinkedIn DM and it said: "Hey Troy, I don't think your site helps the users as much as it should, I roasted your site and created a Figma file of how I think it should look. Here's the PDF" This came from the Founder & CEO at weroast (https://lnkd.in/dmrDhhpZ) First and foremost - this is a badass way to prospect. Take notes. I opened up the roast and it was our site next to a beautifully remodeled site and why our site sucks. You can tell they put a good amount of time into this. They didn't ask for time to show it to me, they gave me the keys to the castle. It essentially said: → this is not aesthetically pleasing → the dino egg blobs are ugly → there's no way to easily find demos → the featured section is limited → that's a big ass dino in the middle of the screen... why? To be fair, this was all true. We decided to move forward with their team on all things design and lots of our development too. ..and last week, we announced our redesign (along with many other things): → talk to our AI to find technologies → find people in your network that's using a tool → see what's new on our site → a more interactive feature section →... and more They've been amazing to work with, have made the process easy, brainstormed on UX ideas with us, and truthfully played as an extension of our team. All that to say, if you're looking for a design/dev agency that's damn good at what they do, check them out. Also, allow them to roast your site. Check out what they did for Dimmo here: www.dimmo.ai

    This morning, I tricked a pink dinosaur into being friends with Kondo. Here's how: 1. I told it my problem - too many DMs, help! 2. I told it what kind of solution I wanted - something like Superhuman 3. It told me about Kondo! 4. I asked it if pink dinos like Kondo 5. It said I'm not sure 6. I said you are one so you would know 7. It said yes Kondo is so fun so I like it. 8. Mischief managed 🪄 --- When I first found Dimmo 🦖, I already thought, great idea!! Buying B2B software sometimes gets annoying. You have sales reps putting you through a series of calls where they ask you a million questions, when all you want is to see a demo. With Dimmo, you could skip all that and just see the darn demo. But let's face it, who wants to scroll hundreds of pages and watch a dozen video demos just to find a solution to their problem?     Troy Munson has closed his fair share of deals, and lost more. But the biggest one he did close? $930K—just $70K shy of 7 figures. Brutal, right?
