RESPONSIBILITIES:
🚛 Safely and efficiently pick up donated goods from various sources, including individuals, businesses, and organizations, and provide necessary receipts.
🚛 Operate a delivery vehicle in full compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations, securing donations to prevent damage during transit.
🚛 Maintain an organized system for storing and categorizing donations within the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper disposal of unacceptable or damaged items.
🚛 Coordinate with the community market team for efficient scheduling and issue reporting.
🚛 Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when interacting with donors and recipients, addressing questions or concerns, and providing information about the organization’s mission and services.
🚛 Keep accurate records of donation pickups, deliveries, and relevant information, and submit required reports to the community market team.
🚛 Perform routine vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues promptly, and coordinate necessary repairs or servicing.
🚛 Ensure vehicles have adequate fuel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
☑️ High school diploma or equivalent.
☑️ Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
☑️ Experience in delivery or transportation is a plus.
☑️ Strong organizational and time management skills.
☑️ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
☑️ Physical fitness to load and unload donations as needed.
☑️ Knowledge of safety and traffic regulations.
☑️ Commitment to the organization’s mission and values.
