Last week, more than 700 Endeavor Health Medical Group physicians, APPs and administrators came together in person for the first time to celebrate clinical achievement and excellence as one team. When I think about how far we’ve come, it’s energizing to see us reaching new milestones and shaping our future and our culture together with trust, accountability and a shared vision. Congratulations to everyone celebrating milestone anniversaries and to all of our inaugural Physician’s Choice Award Winners! Huge thanks to former Chicago Bear and NFL legend Mike Singletary for his inspiring words about leadership and challenging us to ask, “How great can we be together?” I believe the answer is nothing short of incredible. To all of our physicians and APPs – thank you for your resilience, flexibility and lens toward the future. I have frequently reached out to Megan for assistance with securing prompt care. She has always been accommodating and kind. The parents of our patients are always extremely grateful and thank me. They don't realize the thanks truly goes to Megan. In her behind the scenes role she is approachable and accommodating. This evidence demonstrates why I enjoy working with Megan, but recently, I was able to step onto the other side of the desk and benefit from her competent and kind care as a patient. I was blessed by her 13 years of experience in this orthopedic specialty...While it is not her role, she graciously assisted in promptly getting me authorizations. It was like she waved a magic wand and I was given the green light to have these studies completed. I breathed a sigh of relief. My relief was thanks to the aid provided by Megan."

Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley in Villa Park, one of our Community Investment Fund (CIF) inaugural partners since 2022, provides physical, speech and occupational therapies to children with developmental delays and disabilities, and support to families. They have integrated mental healthcare into their therapy services and support programming, offering holistic care for the children that they serve along with the parents, siblings and other family members. Our partnership has helped Easterseals grow from two social workers to 11 full-time team members, including a care coordinator and a bilingual psychologist. Physiatrist Alex Behar, MD, recently presented on “Upper Extremity Nerve Injuries Associated with the Athlete” at an Athletico University event in Elmhurst. Dr. Behar, who also is board-certified in Sports Medicine and serves as the Team Physician for York Community High School in Elmhurst, educated physical therapists, athletic trainers and occupational therapists on neurological injuries, evaluations and treatments for athletes as well as return to play protocols.
