"A big part in our special sauce is around the merchandizing of retailers and the playing off of one with others. So we see that as a big opportunity (at Downtown), where you have a great base of really productive anchors," Shiman said. It's official! EDENS is the new owner of Downtown Palm Beach Gardens, in the heart of the north county. Redevelopment and new leasing efforts are already underway! Go team. https://lnkd.in/eKNWxtDV

Congratulations to Farmers Market Coalition for 25 years of Farmers Market Week, coming up on August 4! 🥬 Seven of our places host weekly farmers markets—some of them year-round. Growers selling locally create thirteen full-time farm operator jobs per $1 million in revenue earned. Those that do not sell locally create only three. Farmers markets are the heart of our local food systems. They’re not just about fresh produce, but also about learning, growing and working together. These markets are created with the community in mind, bringing together market operators, farmers, shoppers and neighbors to meet our evolving needs. Check out and support your local market at Strawberry Village, Alamo Shopping Center, Freshfields Village, Mosaic District, Union Market District, Cabin John Village and Atherton. https://lnkd.in/e8JzjMcN

A beautiful day in Atlanta today, where we commemorated the demolition of North DeKalb Mall to make way for Lulah Hills. It was a swingin' party, to be sure! “We’ve done this multiple times, but each time I recognize the passion of this team and how hard everyone has worked to bring us to this day." -- Jodie W. McLean. Congratulations to Southeast regional head, Herbert Ames, to the team at EDENS embarking on this massive and impactful mixed-use project, to our staff who put on a great show, and to the North DeKalb Community for your continued support. 🎨 ✨ Today we unveiled a new mural at 27th + Larimer in Denver as one of four sites chosen for Absolute Equality’s national Juneteenth Mural Project. Denver has a rich history and legacy centered on black Americans. In the 1850s, free blacks and enslaved people journeyed alongside fur trappers and miners to Colorado in search of financial opportunities in the gold mines. The promise of freedom in the American Southwest made Denver a prime location for those who desired a life based on the idea of "absolute equality." -- absoluteequality.org We were thrilled to welcome back award-winning and world-renowned artist Thomas Evans aka Detour for the creation and unveiling of their incredible portrait of Clara Brown. If you’re in Denver’s RiNo district, please stop by Noble Riot to check out our latest mural. Photo by Erik Dean. Left to right: Darrel Anderson, Thomas Evans aka Detour, Al Gardner.
