This summer, EYA had the pleasure of hosting four talented interns across the marketing, IT, architecture, and development team. Their fresh ideas and enthusiasm played a key role in advancing various projects. Just as we benefited from their contributions, we hope they gained valuable experience and insights that will serve them well in their future careers. We wrapped up the season with a small celebration to thank them for their hard work and dedication and learn about some of their favorite projects of the summer. Last weekend, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, local officials, and community members celebrated the grand opening of the brand-new District of Columbia Reservoir Park Recreation Center. This beautiful new public community space features an indoor pool, fitness studio, recreation center, 6.2-acre park, memorial fountain, plaza with amphitheater, a spray park, gallery space showcasing the history of the site, preserved historic structures and more. Hundreds of guests attended the opening event and enjoyed festivities including food, games, and live entertainment.
