I joined Fox 5 NY to chat about what this drop in the stock market means for individual investors. The cliff notes version? This kind of drop is to be expected. While it’s easy to get caught up in the doom and gloom, the best investing strategies are typically to invest over a long period of time without worrying about what the stock market is going to do next. Don’t forget that for the last five years, the stock market is still up almost 80% despite Covid and despite a rocky economy in many ways. If you’re nervous about the stock market, one of my best suggestions is to learn more about how it works. Fear dies in the light.
