The President of HCA Healthcare Capital Division, Dr. William Lunn, acknowledges the contributions and care that Catholic Medical Center has provided the Manchester community for 50 years and is excited about how they can expand their services and capabilities after joining the HCA Healthcare family.
"Catholic Medical Center (CMC) is a remarkable organization that brings health, healing and hope to the Granite State," Dr. Lunn said. "Later this month, CMC will celebrate its 50th anniversary of providing complex, coordinated care and helping patients in New England live longer and healthier lives."
"Like many stand-alone hospitals, CMC is struggling financially," Dr. Lunn said. "If CMC joins the HCA Healthcare family, we will build on our 40-year track record, aiming to keep essential and lifesaving care in Manchester for the next 50 years. With the transaction’s closing, HCA will provide immediate access to much-needed financial and operational support. Our investment creates a tremendous opportunity to learn from one another and elevate services like cardiology, oncology and trauma."
