  • In 2024 we introduced the Emerging Leaders program to help further develop our managers and directors. These individuals were all handpicked by the senior teams at Portsmouth Regional Hospital and Frisbie Memorial Hospital. While in this program they had the opportunity to learn and reflect on different leadership skills and put the skills learned into practice with a group project, which they presented to the senior leadership team. The experience they’ve gained in this program is paying off, and many of the leaders have been promoted to higher level positions. Congratulations to our first class of Emerging Leaders!

  • The President of HCA Healthcare Capital Division, Dr. William Lunn, acknowledges the contributions and care that Catholic Medical Center has provided the Manchester community for 50 years and is excited about how they can expand their services and capabilities after joining the HCA Healthcare family. "Catholic Medical Center (CMC) is a remarkable organization that brings health, healing and hope to the Granite State," Dr. Lunn said. "Later this month, CMC will celebrate its 50th anniversary of providing complex, coordinated care and helping patients in New England live longer and healthier lives." "Like many stand-alone hospitals, CMC is struggling financially," Dr. Lunn said. "If CMC joins the HCA Healthcare family, we will build on our 40-year track record, aiming to keep essential and lifesaving care in Manchester for the next 50 years. With the transaction’s closing, HCA will provide immediate access to much-needed financial and operational support. Our investment creates a tremendous opportunity to learn from one another and elevate services like cardiology, oncology and trauma." • It's #EmergencyNursesDay, and we want to thank our emergency room (ER) nurses who care for patients who are facing traumatic or severe, often life-threatening medical emergencies ranging from car accidents to strokes and heart attacks every day. Annually, HCA Healthcare, our extended network, sees 9 million ER visits. Our ER nurses are trained and ready to take decisive action in any number of critical situations during each of those patient encounters. During #ENWeek and all year long, we celebrate and thank essential ER nurses at for their dedication to lifesaving, patient-centered care and community service. #HCANursing #EmergencyNursesWeek
