Hello #porkmonth! Governor Kim Reynolds recognized October as Pork Month during a proclamation signing in her office at the State Capitol on Friday, October 18. Iowa Pork Producers Association board members and families, Iowa Pork Queen Lilly Bru, and members of the IPPA staff attended the ceremony. The proclamation recognized the significant contributions the pork industry makes to the state's economy and the dedication and care pig farmers show for their animals, their communities and the environment.
