Breaking new ground in Maryland! We've officially kicked off the renovations of two design-build minor league baseball stadiums. Alongside the Maryland Stadium Authority and design partner, EwingCole, Gilbane Building has worked with our associate partners to develop a comprehensive plan to upgrade both Arthur W. Perdue Stadium and Prince George's Stadium. The significant enhancements address the Major League Baseball (MLB) Player Development League (PDL) standards and are part of a broader initiative by the State of Maryland to improve sports entertainment facilities across the state. Working with the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission and Attain Sports at Prince George's Stadium, Gilbane Building, WarrenBuilds, and EwingCole will continue the design phase into early 2025, with construction projected to begin in March 2025 and extend into 2026. Gilbane Building, InSite | BUILD, and Ewing Cole will complete the first phase of renovations at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium this summer. We have truly impressive projects underway in Philadelphia. I recently visited the Morgan Center for Research and Innovation project at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the AVE Navy Yard, a mixed-use, multifamily development project. These projects both exemplify cutting-edge design and innovation. The Morgan Center for Research and Innovation, a 17-story, 350,000-square-foot addition and renovation project, will significantly expand CHOP's laboratory research capacity and promote stronger collaboration between its clinical and research teams. The AVE Navy Yard, a $285 million development, will feature over 600 luxury and mixed-income apartments, along with indoor and outdoor amenity spaces, restaurants, and retail. I was proud to witness the incredible progress of these projects firsthand. Advancing the semiconductor industry in New York’s Capital Region and beyond!
