📢 #LearningwithIntegrity campaign launch announcement: For nearly 20 years, Global Integrity has contributed to anti-corruption efforts that improve public service delivery outcomes by producing cutting-edge research, strengthening local responses, and building an extensive global network of governance reformers. Throughout its journey, Global Integrity has demonstrated a commitment to collaboration, bridging and making connections across sectors and geographies, and facilitating more effective use of scarce resources and more connected, impactful interventions. 💡 As Global Integrity winds down and prepares for closing at the end of 2023, we have documented our learning journey over the past 18 years, including the most important lessons learned: #1 Local leaders are best placed to advance governance reform, but that doesn't mean they must do it alone. #2 Governance reformers need access to real-world data and the skills and relationships to use it effectively. #3 Blueprint solutions don't work; changing governance systems requires learning-centered and adaptive approaches. #4 Community infrastructure for governance reformers is critical to strengthening impact and resilience. Join us in celebrating Global Integrity's legacy of collaboration and learning. Download Global Integrity's Learning Journey for examples of how we have implemented these insights, questions for further exploration, organizations actively advancing this work, and the most relevant Global Integrity resources to support each learning. Join the #LearningwithIntegrity campaign from November 27 and December 1, 2023, and share your insights on what it takes to advance effective governance reform. We are grateful for the opportunity to have learned with and from our partners. We trust you to continue to share your knowledge openly and take forward the struggle for more just, equitable, and accountable governance systems. Supporting efforts to tackle corruption & improve the use of public resources around the world.
About us
Global Integrity supports progress toward open and accountable governance in countries and communities around the world. Our approach is informed by three key insights: 1. Progress toward more open governance is inherently political; 2. Actors within a given governance context play the primary role in driving governance reform; and 3. There is no universal blueprint for governance reform. We promote open #governance by conducting #research and generating data, supporting the work of country-level reformers, and influencing global conversations on #opengovernance.

Today, Global Integrity concludes its operations. While I am deeply saddened to witness the end of this chapter, I am also very grateful for having had this opportunity to work with an amazing team of interdisciplinary professionals from which I have learned so much personally and professionally. I have always believed in the power of people, and the incredible things that can be achieved when we have access to the right opportunities and inclusive ecosystems, and GI has truly been that magical place for me. Serving as GI's Director of Listening and Learning has been an incredible journey. Leading our strategy to explore the value and limitations of problem-driven cycles of action and learning to address complex challenges worldwide, I have experienced firsthand the power of collaboration while testing new ways of making evidence and learning useful, fun, and accessible to everyone. One notable example is our "Using Participatory Approaches for Health Systems Strengthening" project where we explored how effective data-driven learning among stakeholders can lead to improvements in health service delivery. While GI's journey may be concluding, the pursuit of learning and collaboration in the sector persists and I am eager to discover new ways to contribute to this ongoing journey.

Another day, another learning! 18 years of listening and learning with partners has produced a lot of great insights. We've identified a few of the most important to highlight from the Global Integrity learning journey. Add your voice to #LearningwtihIntegrity as we explore today's learning: Governance reformers need access to real-world data and the skills and relationships to use it effectively with partners from Open Data Charter, Basel Institute on Governance, Jay Kruuse, Alejandro González Arreola, Liz David-Barrett, and others.
