With the potential for load spikes from 100 MW to 30MW, periodically, forever, solving for these issues is going to require entering a new world for design. Drawing inspiration from iconic arenas like “La Bombonera” and the Globe Theater, the Providence Park expansion blends historic charm with modern design. This renovation added over 4,000 new seats, club seating, grandstands, an open public arcade, and a new 120’ steel cantilevered roof. Glumac provided MEP Engineering, technology integration, energy analysis, and lighting design services. Our team led the LED field lighting replacement, reducing power consumption by 15%.
