Dr Guthrie brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the event. With a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow and over 15 years at Air Products, she has played a pivotal role in advancing hydrogen technologies and infrastructure. As UK Business Development Manager for Hydrogen Energy Systems, she spearheaded the deployment of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and infrastructure in cities such as London and Copenhagen, leading multi-stakeholder demonstration projects. Now at the helm of the HEA, Dr Guthrie continues to be a driving force in advocating for hydrogen’s role in clean growth, energy resilience, and net zero. With over 100 members, the HEA is the voice of the UK hydrogen sector, supporting stakeholders across the entire value chain. 🌊 Celebrating Innovation in Clean Maritime! We had a great time attending the Maritime UK South West Ltd Clean Maritime Demonstrator Competition Round 6 support event in Plymouth yesterday! The event highlighted cutting-edge opportunities & support available to advance the development of maritime innovation with a special emphasis on the CMDC Round 6 funding, featuring notable speakers from Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom UKSHORE and Innovate UK. We were very glad to represent two key projects in the South West which are working to support maritime innovation - 💧 GW-SHIFT, a leading initiative driving the development of a hydrogen supercluster across the South West and South Wales, with a variety of activity & support available ranging from R&D to Sprint projects. ⛵ The Hydrogen & Sustainable Transport Economy Accelerator, a SME & Start Up programme designed to accelerate innovation & assist the decarbonisation of all road, marine, rail and air vehicles and fleets, as well as the development of hydrogen as a green fuel and its storage infrastructure.
