Today's GW-SHIFT Seminar – Hydrogen 101: Opportunities and Challenges in the Alternative Fuel Market – with Prof Tim Mays was a fantastic success! With over 90 attendees, the session was described as accessible and thoroughly enjoyable, sparking great discussions on hydrogen innovation. The level of interest was so high that we received 15 insightful questions, not all of which could be answered in the time available. But don’t worry—watch this space! Prof Tim Mays will soon be back for a Talking Heads session, where he’ll tackle the unanswered questions and explore the topic in even greater depth. A productive and well-attended meeting of the Strategic Advisory Board for the GW-SHIFT Place-Based Impact Acceleration Account took place at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd on Wednesday, 22 January 2025. Board members received updates on programme developments, sparking stimulating and important roundtable discussions—both in person and online—about future plans and opportunities.
