This past weekend, we celebrated two of our longtime volunteers and supporters. Surrounded by friends and fellow volunteers, David "VK" was honored with the Governer's Award and 33 years of service to our mission and Brenda Suits was presented with a house plan in her name in recognition for her service since 1987. We are so grateful for our volunteers and the impact they make on our families!

Meet Habitat homeowner Stephanie! Born and raised in New York, Stephanie and her family moved to North Carolina nearly ten years ago. From living in unhealthy conditions to navigating the challenges of COVID-19, she persevered on her journey to homeownership.
