#Femtech Friends - I need your help! We're building the largest consumer-focused FemHealth Festival for Fall 2025. The FemHealth Festival is a global event, mobilizing consumers, athletes, celebrities, and brands to drive the women’s health movement to new heights—amplifying awareness, inspiring advocacy, and fostering cultural change. The Festival will spotlight groundbreaking innovations in women’s health, foster dialogue, and empower consumers to take charge of their health in an open, inclusive environment. Patients deserve better than feeling naked in a standard medical gown. Intimate personal experiences with feeling uncomfortable in the hospital inspired three childhood friends to create HeartSnug, the first adjustable, x-ray safe medical chest garment. We were lucky to speak with one of the co-founders, Lauren Orlick for today's edition of our newsletter. Lauren and the HeartSnug team are on a mission to empower women to take care of their bodies, starting with making medical exams feel a bit more comfortable thanks to the HeartSnug. In our interview, we discussed the challenges of working a brand new product into hospital workflows, the lack of innovation in medical gowns since the 17th century, and the personal experiences fueling HeartSnug’s mission.
