As the #DNC kicked off on Monday, Hispanic Federation and Latino Victory Foundation unveiled the results of a new national snap poll of registered Latino voters. Among the results, our poll found that 73% of Latinos are certain they will vote in 2024, and 57% are more interested in voting after VP Kamala Harris entered the presidential race. We are grateful for all the coverage our poll has received. As the Democratic National Convention kicks off in Chicago on August 19th, two of the nation’s premier Latino organizations, Hispanic Federation and Latino Victory Foundation, are releasing a national poll on Latino voters. Since there are 36.2 million eligible Latino voters this year, this poll provides a snapshot of top issues, presidential preferences, and the qualities they look for to inform their vote this November. 11:00 AM CT and 12PM EST

That’s a wrap on our 2024 National Training! 🎉 We hope all our mentors and liaisons are leaving this experience feeling empowered and ready to take on the academic year with confidence. Today, we concluded our 3-day training with impactful conversations on effective communication, facilitating mentee workshops, and understanding the mentor curriculum. We also had a special surprise visit from HF President & CEO Frankie Miranda and HF Board Chair, RBC Managing Director, and Head of U.S. Communications, Media & Entertainment Marcos Torres. We are incredibly grateful to Frankie and Marcos for sharing their invaluable insights and for inspiring our students. A heartfelt thank you also goes out to our students—your enthusiasm, dedication, and thirst for knowledge truly make this program exceptional. Here’s to an amazing year ahead, filled with growth, learning, and making a lasting impact!
