A very special place called King's Ridge is about to open and they need some extra help in the garbage department, as they get down to the homestretch! Please consider a generous donation to this VERY worthy cause. King's Ridge is a CASA project that will end homelessness for 100 individuals and families in Wake County, NC. The community will have on-site supportive services, including a medical clinic staffed by WakeMed, case managers, a tenant liaison, flexible community space, and much more. It's amazing! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO READY KING'S RIDGE We have several opportunities over the course of January that volunteers can sign up for depending on availability and ability. The first stage of volunteers will help assist with unloading and assembling furniture for the 100 units. Tasks will include unboxing, building furniture, moving furniture, and trash disposal. Helpers do not need any prior experience. Please bring a set of tools and power drill if able. The second and final stage of volunteers before people move in, volunteers will help assist staging home goods in all the units – homegoods include pots, pans, linens, towels, and more.
