About us
At Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, we are and always have been dedicated to helping our members make smart financial choices. Since opening our doors in 1912, we’ve been able to serve over 90,000 members and reach an asset size of over $1.4 billion. As a credit union, we return our profits to members in the form of better yields on savings products, lower rates on loans, little to no fees and free convenient services – features we understand make a huge difference in the lives of our members. Our extensive product offerings serve as a source of support for the goals of members, whether personal or business related. We offer checking and savings accounts, business and consumer loans, credit and debit cards and convenient services to make banking easy. In addition to a corporate headquarters in Lowell, MA, we have eight Jeanne D’Arc branches within the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire area, three high school branches and three Mortgage Loan Centers. HOW WE STARTED Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union began as an establishment where immigrants working in the Lowell mills could turn to for financial stability. Whether they wanted to purchase a home, buy a car or even start their own business, “the little bank around the corner” made it possible. As the third oldest credit union in the country, we know what it means to put our members first. Our history is important to us, which is why we are dedicated to supporting our members, neighbors and surrounding communities by giving back to place that gave us a home and the opportunity to grow. Through volunteerism, partnerships and sponsorships, we strive to be a place our community can always rely on.

The Jeanne D’Arc team cares about so many different causes. In July alone, our team volunteered their time distributing food at the Chelmsford Senior Center community market, handed out ice cream and other goodies at the Dunstable Concert on the Common, and helped with the YMCA’s Tales for Tails reading program at the Lowell Humane Society. We’re proud to have colleagues that each have a heart to serve our community! #CreditUnionDifference

National Intern Day Spotlight! Jill Loebs is a rising senior at UMass Lowell majoring in business administration with a concentration in Marketing. As a member of the Division 1 Field Hockey team, she’s a proud River Hawk! University of Massachusetts Lowell Jill joined the Jeanne D’Arc team in past May as our marketing intern. For the last few months, she’s brought the classroom to the real-world learning marketing strategy, planning and posting social media in Hubspot, publishing blogs in Wordpress, and designing graphics with Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud. But she didn’t stop there! She also assisted with our community engagement initiatives and financial wellness workshops! During this internship Jill learned that she loves to be face-to-face with people, having hands-on experiences rather than be behind a computer screen. She’s super excited to take the skills she’s developed from her time at Jeanne D’Arc and apply them toward her career after college.
