Earlier today, Karpolax had an opportunity to be present at the ceremony today to welcome the new Austrian Honorary Consul Mrs Miriam Wamalwa Wipfler in Uganda. Sara and Sandra had a light moment with Uganda’s business Mogul, Sudhir Rupalelia and the Ugandan Minister of Foreign Affairs, General Jeje Odong. Their interest in Karpolax and their vast experience in the business world stimulated a rich conversation which we believe will lead to a great collaboration.

Earlier this week, had a momentous opportunity to represent Karpolax at the Galien Africa Forum in Senegal 🇸🇳. Our solution to post harvest losses through shelf life extension emerged as the overall winner of the GAYIB Grant. We are going to use this grant to subsidize our product for small holder farmers who can’t pay upfront for our product, and extend our impact to those that need it the most! Thanks to Prof. Awa Marie Coll Seck and the entire team at Galien Forum.

Last week, we had a light moment with Dr. Simone Knapp, the Austrian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Congo, Djibouti, South Sudan, Uganda, African Union & IGAD during the High Level Koffi Annan Award for innovation in Africa award ceremony. Her interest in Karpolax sounded a great array of hope and highlighted to us the immense impact Karpolax is poised to make in the next 12 months! We are set to enter two new markets, Kenya and Rwanda, double our user base, double our production, and double our revenue. As Karpolax remains a product highly on demand in our African ecosystem, we hope that by doubling our production, we’ll be able to meet the current demand and deliver our product to our customers who are still on a waiting list! To incentivize our growth plans, we are looking at raising $500,000 for 10% of our company, we intend to close this round by end of October 2024. We are looking at bringing on board investors with expertise in manufacturing to add immense value to the company production capacity and knowledge.

Even more thrilling was our participation in the exhibition at COP 28, where we had the opportunity to showcase our innovations through a groundbreaking hologram designed by UNICEF. It was an incredible experience to be part of such a significant event focused on sustainability and climate action.
