  • Almost two months ago, we announced that we're coming together with LifeCenter Organ Donor Network as Network for Hope. While we're hard at work preparing for this exciting merger, nothing will ever change our commitment to our mission as an OPO. What is an OPO? An OPO, or Organ Procurement Organization, is a nonprofit dedicated to the recovery of organs and tissue to save and heal lives. OPOs play a vital role in the transplant system by: • Assessing Donor Potential • Collecting and Conveying Accurate Clinical Information • Following Federal Law and National Policies for Offering Organs • Supporting Donor Families • Providing Public Education and Outreach OPOs are on the frontlines in the community to facilitate the gift of life, with integrity, honesty, and exceptional service to Donor Families. As KODA and--in the near future--as Network for Hope, we're proud to be an OPO!
