The Kiewit Shea Traylor Joint Venture team recently traveled to Bassano del Grappa, Italy, to check on the progress of the tunnel boring machine (TBM) that will play a major role in the BART Silicon Valley Phase II Project. Pictured in front of the TBM’s 54-foot-diameter tail shield are Kiewit Quality Manager Tom Stienstra and Welding Technical Services Manager Justin Morse. Manufactured by Herrenknecht, this will be one of the largest TBMs ever built. Major construction kicks off this spring. Traylor Bros., Inc.

This striking photo, captured by Kiewit, showcases the Marine Offloading Facility (MOF) under construction. A key part of the Woodfibre LNG site, the MOF is built on 169 steel piles, installed using advanced drilling and pile-driving techniques. The piles pictured here ensure strong and stable foundation for safely offloading facility modules as the project moves forward. 📸: Kiewit #Construction #BCLNG #CanadianEnergy

Kiewit is excited to have been selected as the construction manager for the I-55 Bridge replacement project by the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT). This project represents a historic investment in the state’s infrastructure, supported by TDOT and the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT), making it the single-largest transportation investment in Tennessee state history. The new bridge will replace the existing 75-year-old structure, enhancing capacity, improving safety and ensuring long-term resilience. "We have a long history of safely building and engineering complex bridge and transportation projects across the United States, including in both states. We are excited to bring our experience and skilled workforce to this project, which importantly connects both states for people within and traveling through the region." - Executive Vice President Dave Miles Read more: https://bit.ly/3FvpkeF
