I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Senior Director, Human Insights at Known! I’m an innately curious person. I find people endlessly fascinating and am constantly amazed at the truths someone will reveal to you if you take the time to truly listen. This is why I fell in love with qualitative research at the start of my career and why it remains foundational to my practice today. I’ve been fortunate to have worked extensively in the technology industry, most recently as the Director of Strategy for Verizon Consumer on the CRMOne team where I oversaw the rebrand and launch for their new sub-brand, myHome, and have partnered with various Google and Microsoft teams to help shape the narratives of emerging technologies over two decades. I've been able to stretch across industries to study eating and dining behaviors during my time spent with the Conagra and Yum! Brand families and have tapped into the talented side working on special projects with agents at CAA. It was a thrilling journey to grow my skill set across social, experiential and SEO practices, and to discover new approaches to mixed methodology research. But I was never satisfied with focusing on one discipline and knew that I would need to find a home where big ideas could exist without limitations; a place where I wouldn’t be put into a box. And then I met Kern Schireson and the Known team. They shared their vision for a modern marketing agency that combined data sciences, human insights, future-forward design, and award-winning media. I met with a team of PhD data scientists, talented creatives, expert strategists, and research leads and was blown away by the quality and variety of work taking place at the agency. They educated me on groundbreaking AI research platforms, introduced me to the power of causal modeling, and shared my interest in the pursuit of knowledge and truth. They listened to me as I outlined my dream of building a practice centered around curiosity, empathy, and academic rigor. It was at that moment that I knew that I had found a team of kindred spirits that made me feel understood; they made me feel Known.
