News! LanzaJet and LanzaTech are teaming up to launch CirculAir™, a breakthrough solution that converts waste, carbon, and renewable power into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (#SAF). This joint offering combines the groundbreaking technologies of LanzaJet and LanzaTech to transform nearly any waste or carbon resource into drop-in SAF. With CirculAir, we can turn a wide range of waste materials—such as municipal solid waste, agricultural waste, recycled carbon from industrial processes, and even CO2 from the air—into SAF that will reduce aviation emissions by 85% to carbon negative. This process not only meets EU and other national requirements by leveraging waste-based feedstocks, but it also enables countries worldwide to turn their local waste streams into valuable SAF. CirculAir uses the same feedstocks as other technologies and pathways – Fischer Tropsch, Power-to-Liquids (PtL), Waste-to-Fuels, eFuels – but efficiently processes them to SAF through our ethanol transformation process which is already an ASTM approved pathway.
