Lynker's Marinus Boon, is back from BeaverCON 2024 in Boulder, Colorado! This conference hosted by the Beaver Institute was awesome for new connections and sharing our Beaver Pond Mapping work! The Colorado Natural Heritage Program highlighted our team's project on "Developing High Resolution, Multi-Year Wetland & Beaver Pond Maps" using machine learning. 📜 Just published! We're excited to share a new report from the National Coral Reef Monitoring Program! 🌊 Lynker’s own Dr. Mary E. Allen co-authored the National Coral Reef Monitoring Program Socioeconomic Monitoring Component: Summary Findings for Guam 2023. This report dives into the vital human connections that Guam residents have with coral reefs, showcasing the cultural and economic value these ecosystems provide. The findings also highlight changes between the 2016 and 2023 monitoring cycles. Our Ecological Remote Sensing Lead, Marinus Boon, has just returned from the 2024 Sustaining Colorado Watersheds Conference in Avon, Colorado.
