Meet Esmeralda Murga, LMFT, our Enhanced Care Management (ECM) Clinical Consultant. Esmeralda joined Masada earlier this year to help launch our ECM program, a new Medi-Cal benefit designed to improve access to healthcare and social services for its members. When asked what inspires her, she shared, “As a daughter of Guatemalan immigrants, a driving force in my career in community mental health has been the desire to serve my community. My role at Masada allows me to utilize my cultural and professional experiences to influence the way the Enhanced Care Management Program serves the local Latinx and immigrant community. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the ECM team successfully connect families to services that are culturally and linguistically appropriate,” Esmeralda shares. We are grateful for Esmeralda’s dedication and the positive impact she’s making within our community.
