MCE reposted this
Established as California’s first CCA (community choice aggregator), MCE helped pioneer making renewable energy available to everyone. MCE, a non-profit, now serves over 1.5 million residents and businesses across four counties, providing energy options that prioritize sustainability and affordability. At the helm of MCE’s legal affairs is Catalina Murphy, the company’s general counsel, whose expertise and leadership play a vital role in advancing MCE’s mission. “At MCE, we’re all about empowering communities with clean energy and real choices. I’m proud to help navigate the legal side to keep driving sustainability and innovation forward,” Murphy says. #cleanenergy #renewableenergy #sustainability #nonprofit #law #legal **Produced by Jody Robbins

Meet Maria Echeverry! As a Customer Success Advisor, she’s one of the friendly voices at our service center, helping countless customers in English and Spanish understand their energy options and lower their bills—a critical service for our community. "The most rewarding part of my work is knowing that I'm not just answering questions; I'm empowering people with choices they didn't have before. Whether it's helping a family lower their energy costs, guiding an elderly customer through their bill, or informing someone about renewable energy options, I love providing support that brings relief and peace of mind. Seeing the gratitude in their voices or messages reminds me that small actions can make a big impact." When she’s not making a difference at work, she’s out enjoying long walks with her dog, Macho, and spreading kindness wherever she goes. Thank you, Maria, for your dedication to serving our community!
