“The Meru [Health] program has impacted the way I view life... Before this program, I was stuck in the same old patterns of overthinking and thinking about worst-case scenarios… [Meru Health helped me] take a step back and look at the big picture… and go to the positive instead of going straight to the negative.” - Sadie, Meru Health member 💚Thank you, Sadie, for giving others hope that real change is possible and for reminding us why we’re here—to provide high-quality mental health care that is more accessible and more effective. One thing became apparent during the COVID-19 pandemic: Traditional employee assistance programs (EAPs) struggle to provide effective mental health care. In fact, many of these initiatives are now under review. As the mental health crisis continues, employers must reimagine how they address mental health in the workforce. In his recent article “Rethinking Workplace Mental Health: Navigating the Pandemic’s Impact” on HR Daily Advisor, our CEO and Founder, Kristian Ranta, explores why EAPs are typically ineffective and shares steps organizations can take to help their employees achieve sustained mental health. “The continuing mental health crisis both inside and outside of the workplace necessitates a fresh approach to addressing mental health issues at work — and the importance of taking a holistic approach to mental health. This concept of “whole health at work” goes beyond traditional mental health support to encompass physical, emotional, and social well-being.” Click here to keep reading 👉 https://lnkd.in/gAKGEKCC

While many health plans have increased access to mental health care, few have been dedicated to delivering quality care for their members—until now. Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, is breaking the mold. Evernorth has doubled down on partnering with provider groups that offer innovative and effective approaches to treatment, like Meru Health. “There are always new and amazing innovations in behavioral health care, but those innovations cannot make an impact unless we have the health plans on board to deliver them,” Shrewsbury said. “Evernorth was the first national partner to embrace our innovation, and that is going to help move the needle on revolutionizing behavioral health.” - Brett Shrewsbury, CCO Learn more about how The Cigna Group is streamlining the care experience for behavioral health providers and why we’re excited about this life-changing partnership: https://lnkd.in/gT8HPqYb. #MentalHealthCare

With more than half of men saying they don’t talk openly about their health, we believe that for Men’s Health Month and every month, it’s essential to do exactly that: Talk! 📣 So, we’re spotlighting our male-identifying colleagues and how they prioritize their physical and mental health.
