The Michigan Educator Workforce Initiative (MEWI) works closely with K-12 public education systems leaders to design and implement innovative solutions to improve Michigan's educator workforce. By developing and supporting programs that certify, recruit, develop and retain teachers and school leaders, MEWI is working to ensure every Michigan child has a great teacher, every day.
