La pasada semana, coincidiendo con el Día Mundial de los Derechos Humanos, el seminario virtual “Derecho a reclamar: mecanismos de queja sobre proyectos con financiamiento internacional” reunió a los mecanismos de rendición de cuentas de ocho importantes organismos internacionales para explicar cómo las comunidades afectadas por proyectos de desarrollo pueden plantear sus preocupaciones y acceder a soluciones concretas.   El evento destacó cómo estos mecanismos independientes permiten: ✅ Resolver disputas entre comunidades, ejecutores y bancos. ✅ Investigar el cumplimiento de políticas ambientales y sociales. ✅ Asesorar para mejorar prácticas y estándares de las instituciones.   La jornada incluyó casos concretos que muestran el impacto positivo de estas herramientas y explicó cómo las comunidades pueden acceder a estos mecanismos de forma gratuita y sin necesidad de asesoría legal especializada.   🎥 ¿Te lo perdiste?
