I’ve always loved the Chiat/Day quote: “How big can we get before we get bad?” Although, I would like to stop just a click before that. For us at Mischief, size isn’t an end goal in terms of headcount or billings. We view size in terms of impact. How can we have the largest impact on our client’s business, on culture, and optimistically, on the industry? We grow with both eyes on that. One of the founding principles of Mischief @ No Fixed Address states: If we focus on what makes us special, the money will follow. If we focus on the money, we will cease to be special.
