In early June, Motiva participated in the Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas' 2024 Teacher Externship Program. This program connects classroom instruction with real-world applications by allowing teachers to spend time at host facilities of high-demand industries. Nine educators participated in a week-long program at our Port Arthur Manufacturing Complex, where they explored various operating units, wearing personal protective equipment. They also gained insights into the administrative, field, and frontline aspects of our business, as over 50 employees shared information on their roles and careers available within the oil and gas industry. This experience will help teachers incorporate practical knowledge into their curriculum to better prepare students for careers in the energy sector.

Motiva is honored for the recent recognition by aramco for exemplary operational excellence and environmental performance at the 2024 CEO's Excellence Awards. Motiva received gold for Best Performance in Environment & Climate and Best Performance in Operational Excellence, and silver for Most Improved in Maintenance & Reliability. This achievement is a true reflection of Motiva's leadership and employees' commitment to operational excellence. Motiva President & CEO Jeff Rinker accepted the awards on behalf of the company at a special ceremony in Dhahran on June 24.

To celebrate the end of another fantastic school year, Motiva organized a special teacher appreciation breakfast at our partner school Houston ISD Northside High School! This event honored the incredible faculty members who are committed to making a positive impact on our local students each and every day.

Motiva's Executive Vice President of Operations, Jeff Newman, and our operations leaders recently toured the Sabine Channel aboard our chartered vessel, SEAKAY SKY. Accompanied by Captain Wesley Moore, President of the SABINE PILOTS ASSOCIATION, the team spent a full day aboard the 300,000-barrel medium-range tanker, learning about the complexities of safe and environmentally responsible marine operations. The Sabine Pilots Association plays a vital role in upholding the safety and environmental well-being of the Sabine Neches Waterway. Thanks to Captain Moore and the SEAKAY SKY captain and crew for a fantastic and enlightening day on the water.

Motiva is a proud supporter of Camp Bright Star, hosted by the IEA - Inspire, Encourage, Achieve, a program designed to empower youth to achieve dignity and respect through knowledge, compassion, and understanding. This year, Motiva sponsored a $3,000 scholarship for local Southeast Texas student Justin Littles Jr. who is seeking to earn his Class A CDL certification from the Lamar Institute of Technology. #MotivaProud

A team of Motiva engineers recently volunteered at the Lamar University College of Engineering Introduction to Engineering (L.I.T.E.) camp. This week-long program provided sixth-grade students with a hands-on, immersive experience to explore the world of engineering. Hosted by Lamar University, this program serves as an opportunity to introduce the next generation to engineering concepts and various disciplines in the field.

Motiva recently teamed up with aramco and SABIC Americas for a shoreline cleanup event with the Galveston Bay Foundation. In less than two hours, volunteers managed to clear 547 pounds of trash from the shoreline! Not only will this help protect our diverse marine life, but it will also improve the water quality and enhance the natural beauty of the Bay. #MotivaProud
