    Did you know that creators on average have more than 8 links in their link trees at any given time? Creators with cluttered and confusing links leads to decision paralysis and a missed opportunity to engage with social shoppers. We always recommend that our Anchor™ clients make sure to review their creator partners' links as part of their evaluation process and to make sure to: ✅ Include required link in bio or link tree placement as part of paid partnerships and even for strategic gifting initiatives. ✅ Don't wait until after your deal is locked - managers like to hike the price for link placement and it really should be considered part of your creator requirements. Without the a fixed link placement, how will your customers find the products your creator partners are recommending? ✅ Make sure your affiliate commission % is higher than they can get on the general affiliate platforms they also use (LTK, ShopMy, Amazon, etc).     Influencer and creator follower counts with broad content engagement %s + a gut-feeling about content alignment are no longer enough for brands to gauge who to invest in. At Motom we always recommend to our brand partners to test before you invest. Here's how: 1) Offer new creators gifting with affiliate commission AND their own storefront to curate your products exclusively. Only give storefronts to creators who will include it in their link in bio/link platform. (If they won't do do the link, take that as a red flag!) 2) Give it at least 2-3 months to assess their potential. Some will show their value immediately, others may be a long-tail opportunity. Look closely at how organic content may or may not move the needle for storefront views, clicks, and sales. 3) Nurture your network with simple incentives based on performance such as small cash bonuses, gift cards, and discounts. Don't make creators jump through hoops with points and intricate tasks - you'll lose them. 4) Start to invest more in those with potential for longer-term relationships ("more" can be defined as paid content, gifting, and time spent nurturing - make it based on what works for your budget and team bandwidth), and continue to test new creators. 5) Track, measure, optimize, reinvest.
