Titled, "Securing the Future with proCHWs : A Timeless Investment in Health for All," this high-level gathering effectively positioned professional Community Health Workers (proCHWs) as a strategic and cost-effective investment in achieving global health goals. Muso à l’AGNU Lors de la 79e session de l'Assemblée générale des United Nations à New York, notre Directeur Général, Dr. Ari Johnson, a rencontré le Colonel Assa Badiallo Touré, Ministre de la Santé et du Développement social du #Mali. Cette rencontre bilatérale a constitué une occasion importante de discuter des moyens de renforcer la collaboration entre Muso et le Ministère, en particulier concernant les initiatives visant à améliorer l'accès aux services de santé primaire dans les zones difficiles d’accès. This milestone is the result of the Ministry of Health's bold commitment to professionalizing CHWs across the country by 2026, as well as the diligence of our wonderful West Africa team and partner Muso, who have worked so hard to make this ambition a reality. Muso at UNGA During the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, our CEO, Dr. Ari Johnson, met with Colonel Assa Badiallo Touré, Mali’s Minister of Health and Social Development. This bilateral meeting served as an important opportunity to discuss ways to enhance collaboration between Muso and the Ministry, particularly regarding initiatives designed to improve access to primary health services in underserved areas. After training the CHW supervisors and stock managers, it is now the turn of 250 CHWs to benefit from a training session. From October 1st to 4th, the CHWs will be formed by Muso’s Learning and Innovation department on the use of protocols and forms for managing health supplies at the community level in the health areas of Bamako (Yirimadio and Bakorobabougou). This ongoing training focuses on the use of the Community Health Toolkit and will equip the CHWs with the necessary tools for the optimal management of supply, distribution, and dispensing of essential health products. #CommunityHealth #formation #Muso
