We're looking forward to NAWM's 2025 Annual State/Tribal/Federal Coordination Meeting. Have you considered Sponsorship? FMI - https://lnkd.in/eJdQfYAe For over 40 years, #NAWM’s annual State/Tribal/Federal Coordination (#STFC) Meeting has provided a crucial space for wetland professionals to gather and learn from each other, share best practices, and enjoy productive networking opportunities to support and enhance their wetland programs. This year’s meeting will be held for the first time in the pacific northwest at the beautiful Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington from April 8-11, 2025. The purpose of NAWM’s annual meeting is to support state, Tribal, and federal wetland program managers and other wetland professionals as they respond to challenges in the coming year. The theme for this year’s meeting will be "Building an Evergreen Future with Wetlands" and the agenda will include three full days of individual presentations and panels, social events, and optional field trips.

🐸 NAWM Members - have you registered for the 9/25 Webinar? https://lnkd.in/gR-NDX5S Presenters: Eryn Bloom - Kurtis Fisher - Chelsea M. Peterson If you’d like to support the Kusler Scholarship Award, visit us at: https://lnkd.in/edX2wquE The Jon A. Kusler Student Scholarship Award was created in 2020 to honor the legacy of the late Dr. Jon A. Kusler, Esq., NAWM’s founder and one of the most influential thinkers of our time regarding wetland and floodplain science, policy, and law. Jon paved the way for wetland and floodplain protection around the world, challenging us to think beyond the norm – to find new and innovative ways to solve some of our most pressing environmental issues. Eleven students have received the Kusler Student Scholarship Award since its inception in 2020. Three students were selected in 2024 and attended NAWM's Annual State/Tribal/Federal Coordination Meeting, held in June at the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, WV. This webinar will showcase the students' research projects and will highlight the work of the next generation to protect and restore our nation's wetlands. #wetlandprotection #floodplain #wetlandscience #wetlandlaw #environmental #bestmanagementpractices #BMP #NationalPollutantDischargeEliminationSystem #NPDES #WaterResourceManagement #ecosystems #coastalheadwaters #wetlandhydrology #WetlandIntrinsicPotentialtool #wip #DigitalElevationModel #DEM #watershed #soil #organicmatter #ecosystem #carbonstorage #floodplainrestoration #drainage #SOM #Kusler
