About us

The North Central Texas Economic Development District (NCTEDD) brings together the private and public sectors in partnership to provide a coordinated economic development strategy, and economic development technical assistance with strategic planning, grant writing, grant administration and training workshops. The District is guided by the NCTEDD Board, comprised of economic development officials from the public and private sectors, educational institutions, workforce development boards, chambers of commerce, economic development corporations, and business leaders. The NCTEDD Board functions as an advisory board to the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) Executive Board. The NCTEDD is comprised of 16 North Central Texas counties: Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant and Wise.
