  • Anna Pozniak Pozniak shared some powerful insights from SaaStock 2024, and we couldn’t agree more. Her key takeaways include: • Take the plunge: “If you don’t ask, it’s always a ‘NO.’” Sometimes, you just have to go for it. • The value of niche focus: Horizontal SaaS companies are struggling, but those with a vertical-focused go-to-market strategy see lower CAC. • Intent data and new channels: With inboxes and LinkedIn crowded, WhatsApp is emerging as a vital channel for nurturing relationships. That’s why our WhatsApp integration is a game-changer. • Cold calling isn’t dead: Many companies are still seeing success, especially in the UK. Check out Anna’s full post for more takeaways! #SaaStock2024 #NetHuntCRM #B2B #SaaS

If you don’t ask, it’s always a ‘NO.’ This line from Guillaume Moubeche's SaaStock speech hit me. As a marketer, I constantly find myself hesitating in situations where I know I should just take the plunge — whether it’s reaching out to someone new or asking for something I need. It’s uncomfortable, but I’ve realized that if I don’t ask, I’ve already decided the answer for them: it’s ‘no.’ And sure, I might still get a ‘no’ if I do ask, but at least I’ll know I tried. A few other things from SaaStock: 1/ It’s a tough time to be a horizontal SaaS. You can be vertical-agnostic, but your GTM strategy has to be vertical-focused. Kyle Poyar's conversation with Andrew Davies really highlighted this. From my chats with other attendees, it’s clear niche companies are seeing up to 2x lower lower CAC. 2/ Intent data is everywhere But using it effectively? That’s another story. There’s a lot of discussion around this, and I’m still reflecting on how best to leverage it. 3/ The rise of Whatsapp as a communication channel. As inboxes and LinkedIn get more crowded, messengers are becoming valuable for nurturing established connections. At NetHunt CRM, we’ve noticed this shift too, which is why we launched a WhatsApp integration to track every conversation. 4/ 80% of companies I spoke to are doing cold calling. Successfully. Especially in the UK. So, is cold calling really dead? 😅 It’s a reminder that it’s all about market and buyer behavior. On top of all the insights, I met some amazing people: → Ruta Sudmantaite – need help with GTM strategy and launching marketing motion? Talk to Ruta! → Tom Sandford – your go-to for LinkedIn Ads services. → Craig Brown – a brilliant resource for messaging and positioning advice. It was also great catching up with Srikrishna Swaminathan, 👨🏻💻 Dipak Vadera (no photo again 😁), Cristian Dina, Alexandru Stan, and many more. Huge thanks to Alexander Theuma for putting together such an incredible event! 👏 #SaaStock2024

  • 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴? 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄! Recently, Dmytro Katiukha, VP Sales at NetHunt CRM, and Alex Zlotko, CEO of Forecastio, shared expert tips on refining sales forecasts for more accurate and predictable growth. Here are the top five actionable takeaways: 🔍 𝟭. 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 Inaccurate or incomplete data in your CRM can skew your entire forecast. Encourage your sales reps to see the personal value of accurate data—it helps them hit their targets. Utilize automation tools that can analyze customer conversations and update CRM fields automatically. By reducing human errors, you significantly improve forecast reliability. 📊 𝟮. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 Most companies rely on bottom-up forecasting, which depends on sales reps’ gut feelings and deal estimates. However, sales reps tend to be optimistic, leading to inflated projections. To get more accurate forecasts, mix different methodologies, such as: • 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺-𝘂𝗽 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Sales reps predict deal closures based on their knowledge. • 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Using past sales data to predict future performance. • 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀: Methods like auto-regression with moving averages take into account trends, seasonality, and sudden sales spikes or dips. 🔄 𝟯. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 Too often, sales teams keep technically dead deals in their active pipeline, hoping they’ll revive, which distorts key metrics like win rates and sales cycle length. If a deal is no longer progressing, move it to “Closed Lost” right away. This keeps your pipeline healthy and ensures your forecasts are based on realistic data, not wishful thinking. ⚡ 𝟰. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 Sales velocity measures how fast deals are closing and how quickly revenue is being generated. The formula is simple: (𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀 × 𝗪𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲 × 𝗔𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝘇𝗲) / 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 Combine it with metrics like pipeline coverage (do you have enough deals to hit your targets?) and stage conversion rates (how many deals are moving through the pipeline efficiently?). Together, these metrics give you a dynamic view of your sales process and allow for quick, data-driven adjustments. By applying these strategies, you can increase the accuracy of your forecasts, keep your pipeline clean, and improve your chances of closing deals faster. #SalesForecasting #CRM #SalesGrowth #SalesLeadership #NetHuntCRM

  • LinkedIn vs. WhatsApp for Lead Communication 🤔 When it comes to talking to leads, both LinkedIn and WhatsApp are solid options, but they work best in different situations: 🔵 LinkedIn is perfect for more formal outreach. You can connect with decision-makers, send personalized messages, and follow up after a connection. It’s great for B2B, where building a professional relationship is key. For example, if you’ve just connected with a potential client after a webinar, you can follow up with a message to keep the conversation going. 🟢 WhatsApp, on the other hand, is better for quick, real-time communication. It’s more casual, so it works when you need fast responses or if you’ve already built a connection. Think of sending a reminder about a call or answering a quick question from a lead who's already in your pipeline. Good news: with NetHunt CRM, we’ve got both integrations, so you can choose the best channel depending on the situation — and keep all your conversations organized in one place. #NetHuntCRM #LinkedInIntegration #WhatsAppIntegration #LeadManagement #SalesCommunication
