To celebrate World Mental Health Day, and in particular this year’s theme of “Mental Health at Work,” we’re highlighting the important work of our partners who support employees all year round. We’re excited to share a powerful case study from Magellan Health which demonstrates the impact of the organization’s Digital Cognitive Behavioral Therapy modules. These are robust digital programs that support those struggling with depression, anxiety, pain, insomnia, and substance use. In a recent study, Magellan Health found that these self-guided modules reduced depression and anxiety symptoms 24% and 41%, respectively. This level of reduction demonstrates that these digital programs are as effective as in-person therapy. In honor of World Mental Health Day, which is placing a spotlight on mental health at work, we’re excited to share groundbreaking findings from research developed by our partners Prudential Financial and Aflac. The disability insurers have come together to shine a light on the impact of paid leave on employees who take on the additional work of their coworkers. While many employers tout the importance of paid leave in supporting mental health and well-being, many don’t consider the support needed for the teammates who are left behind. In this research, Aflac and Prudential found significant impacts on both physical and mental health for those taking on additional work. Check out some of the key findings from the study here: https://lnkd.in/etNY-bmX #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthatWork #MentalHealth

Thank you Jenny Merrithew for the kind words! We're honored to help Aflac support employees' well-being.
It's World Mental Health Day. In 2022, Aflac partnered with NeuroFlow to enhance our group long-term disability coverage with an innovative mental health solution. Since then, more than 42% of eligible employees engaged with NeuroFlow's well-being assessments resulting in proactive outreach from NeuroFlow's care team.* NeuroFlow helps employees take control of their whole health by providing digital support through relaxation and mindfulness techniques as well as physical strength-building activities. The platform also identifies mental wellness concerns, such as anxiety and depression, through assessments and trackers before they negatively impact an employee's well-being and productivity. To learn more about how Aflac helps support the mental well-being of our group long-term disability customers, please download our flyer. *Data from all Aflac program-covered members who registered between Sept. 1, 2022, and Oct. 1, 2024. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealth
