We're proud to be in great company convening this urgent and necessary dialogue on what it will take to build multistakeholder collaboration and futures that leverage "critical" transition minerals for socially and ecologically responsive development in Africa.
The African critical minerals space is rapidly evolving and encompasses geopolitics, social and environmental risks, and human rights issues. Collaboration amongst diverse actors is crucial to ensuring fair and sustainable resource management. We are therefore excited to host an online multi-stakeholder conversation on September 4th to shape a just and equitable future for African critical minerals. This discussion is hosted by the African Energy Dialogues of the World Resources Institute and Reos Partners in partnership with New Economy Hub, Oxfam International and the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI). This conversation aims to: ➡️ Develop a collective understanding of where collaboration is needed ➡️ Learn from relevant existing collaborations ➡️ Identify potential opportunities for long-term collaborative strategy and action to advance critical minerals futures across Africa.
