Last Friday in Miami, I met up with a group of founders and colleagues to dive deep into AI... No gurus, no absolute truths—just a room full of people sharing real experiences, wins, and challenges. But what really stood out was how AI is unlocking new possibilities—saving time, improving workflows, and even changing how we think about solving problems. How to make every meeting a great one? Start by measuring them. Three key criteria: ⌛ Duration 🗒️ Decisions 🎯 Execution Time is money. The shorter the meeting, the more efficient it is. Set speedy meetings on your calendar, with 20/30 minutes as the standard instead of an hour. The shortest effective meeting always wins. Make it matter. Meetings are often full of talk but light on action. Measure how many decisions were actually made. The meeting that drives more decisions is the one that counts. Accountability wins all. At the end of the day, the real value lies in what gets done. The meeting with the most executed decisions is the true winner. We typically use a simple, custom-made L10 meeting template.
