Originally built in 1915, the building was enhanced with the addition of an 18-story tower in 2021. This blend of old and new architecture perfectly embodies the essence of New York — timeless yet modern. 🗽 🏛️ At NOVA Construction Services, we’re proud to have contributed to the restoration of historic treasures like 378 West End Avenue. Our scope of work included: Façade cleaning, limestone Dutchman repairs, crack repairs, redesigning Juliet balconies, removing and replacing terra cotta units, and replacing steel lintels. Built between 1897 and 1899, the Bayard-Condict Building stands as an important part of New York City's architectural and national heritage. Our team at NOVA Construction Services is proud to have contributed to the restoration of this incredible piece of history. 🏛 ✨ Designed by Louis Sullivan, this building is his only work in New York City. As one of the architects who pioneered the Chicago School of Architecture, Sullivan’s distinct style is perfectly displayed in this structure. 65 Bleecker Street was recognized as a New York City landmark in 1975 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. Today, the Bayard-Condict Building stands as a lasting symbol of New York City's rich architectural history.
