About us
NYC Accelerator is here to help you reduce costs in your building, improve occupant health and safety, and confront climate change. Our team of experts provides free, personalized guidance to make cost-saving, energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades, and reduce carbon emissions across New York City's one million buildings. Since the NYC Mayor's Office of Climate and Environmental Justice launched the program in 2021, we have worked with over 11,500 buildings across the five boroughs to build a cleaner future by reducing pollution and cutting carbon emissions.

🏙️ The J-51 tax break is back! 🏙️ Discover the benefits of the J-51 tax incentive program! This program offers an as-of-right tax exemption and abatement for residential rehabilitation or conversion to multiple dwellings. It's a great opportunity to enhance your property while saving on taxes. 📅 Important Update: The J-51 program has been reformed and is available for projects completed after June 29, 2022, and before June 29, 2026.
