Envisioned as a coastal escape, OBMI carefully planned the positioning of SouthMED to fully enjoy 100 blocks of direct access and views to the majestic Mediterranean Sea. To support an active lifestyle community, designers created multi-lane roads and nature trails to increase accessibility for exploring, walking, and cycling. The community promotes experiences of discovery and rejuvenation by integrating opportunities for daily movement, social engagement, and immersion in nature, making the most of the pristine beaches and vibrant atmosphere. With SouthMED, OBMI redefines luxury living and tourism in a tranquil coastal setting where one can connect with the environment and each other, whether enjoying it for a weekend or a lifetime. Royal Mansour Marrakech has been revealed as the Art of Hospitality Award winner by The World’s 50 Best Hotels ahead of the annual list, which will be announced in September. The hotel exemplifies the warmth and elegance of Moroccan culture, with handcrafted details from local artisans and 53 palatial riads, each with a private courtyard, plunge pool, and roof terrace inspired by the Moroccan way of living. The innovative design features enhance the exceptional service at the Royal Mansour. OBMI designed a unique network of underground tunnels, allowing staff to navigate the property and discreetly provide seamless, discreet service - every detail creates unforgettable moments for guests. Our firm is proud to be a part of this design story, which showcases the Moroccan culture and craftsmanship and has continued to be one of the most sought-after in the world.

While designing the Royal Mansour Marrakech, OBMI leveraged the wellness benefits of sacred geometry to enhance the guest experience. As guests explore the hospitality and cultural landmark, they will find intricate latticework, patterns, and arches. They will notice that on a cellular and conscious level, architecture nurtures well-being through an environment symbolizing harmony and balance in the universe. Sacred Geometry harnesses the universe's mathematical principles and vibrational energies to create spaces that resonate with life's core dynamics, fostering transformative self-healing and connection to nature. The enduring practice of incorporating sacred geometry in architectural design can be found in spiritual dwellings. It has strengthened human wellness and psyche for centuries by forming coherent spaces that harness the healing power of life force energy. At Rosewood Little Dix Bay, OBMI helped realize dreams of an on-site sustainable farm into the resort's reimagined master plan that would bring the freshest ingredients and provide unique experiences to guests such as learning how to cook local cuisine or simply the chance to enjoy the healing powers of nature while touring the gardens.
