At OpenTable, we’re always innovating to help diners discover amazing restaurants, and help restaurants fill seats. That’s why we’re excited to be the first restaurant tech partner at launch for OpenAI’s new Operator tool. Operator is an AI agent that helps users search the web and, in our case, easily make single or recurring restaurant reservations. See how it works:* https://lnkd.in/e8Z8Cj9g *As a research preview, Operator will first be available to Pro users in the US.

Our team is in awe of how quickly LA restaurants have sprung into action to help their community— stepping up to offer free meals to displaced residents, evacuees and first responders, providing shelter, and creating a small amount of normalcy amid heartbreaking loss and disruption. Through various initiatives, OpenTable is pledging to commit over $1 million in support of the industry’s relief efforts and will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with restaurants in this community that make our business possible. As a first step, OpenTable has donated $100,000 to help offset the costs for our LA-based restaurants that are offering relief. We’ve also launched a public GoFundMe so that others can join us in sustaining this vital work and help restaurants help even more people. This is just the beginning.
