Our Wayfinder tool wouldn’t exist without the brilliant team of architects who built it. Among them, our Principal Engineer, Raph Martelles, stands out as a key mastermind behind the visualization tool to track satellites and space debris in low Earth orbit. “It will cripple us. If we don’t have near-Earth communications, things just break. Tools like this help amplify the human mind and imagination and see things at a scale we don’t perceive normally.” Raise your hand if you’ll be referring to it as ‘space crap’ from here on out. ✋

Big news to share today! 🔊 Orbital and Privateer Space have secured a first-of-its-kind $2 million contract from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency under the Commercial Solutions Opening program! Applying our commercial technology to tracking illicit maritime activity in the Indo-Pacific region is one among a boundless number of ways the fusion of space and AI analytics can make more good possible. We’re thrilled to count NGA among our government partners and look forward to contributing new solutions to these hard problems.
