Hydera is OPEN for business tomorrow, August 8th. There is no minimizing the devastation and heartbreak caused by Hurricane Debby to the South Atlantic and Florida Gulf Coasts. Our primary concern is the safety and well-being of our staff, their families, our neighbors, our community and the larger population of the entire southeast United States as we collectively weather this storm and cope with recovery efforts. To our valued customers and partners, Hydera has weathered the storm without significant impact. Bushy Park, at construction, was elevated and stabilized at an additional 13 feet, to a condition built to withstand a 1,000 years storm. Our foresight in building a fully concreted facility with world class infrastructure rewards us and puts us in the position to reopen tomorrow, just like any other day. We expect that other facilities will not have been as fortunate, and we know that some are in very difficult shape, with steep hills to climb. This provides no joy for us, and we hope that the staff of our competitors and their families are safe. We however, are indeed ready to respond to our customers, we are in the position to HELP you. We will be initiating contact with as many customers as possible, and we encourage those we know, and those we don't, but would like to, to reach out to us if we can be of assistance during these difficult times.

On the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we celebrate the strides made towards accessibility and inclusion as a result of this legislation. We are proud to integrate these values into our culture and operations, ensuring that our communities and workplaces are inclusive for everyone. Here's to continuing the journey towards a more accessible and equitable future for all. As the ADA celebrates and protects all abilities, we too champion the potential of all abilities. Pacolet Milliken sponsors the Els For Autism Youth Golf Clinic at the BMW Charity Pro-Am, empowering young athletes with diverse abilities. Our subsidiary, Lockhart Power, also champions diverse abilities by actively supporting the Royal Gala, a prom dedicated to those with special abilities.

Today is #InternDay. We are excited to introduce Pacolet Milliken’s Summer Interns! Anna Hicks, ESG Intern, Politics and International Affairs and Economics Major, Furman University My favorite part of interning at Pacolet has been getting to learn from such experienced professionals in the investment and finance industry. Everyone at Pacolet is intentional and thoughtful with each decision they make, considering how their actions will affect the company, the community, and the environment. I have been very lucky to be able to learn from experiences and wisdom. The best learning experience has been traveling to Pacolet’s different subsidiary locations and getting to learn about the inner workings of each company. It has been so interesting to learn more about the renewable energy and power sectors and the challenges that each company faces. Dilan Patel, Commercial Real Estate Intern, Real Estate and Land Economics Masters, Texas A&M My favorite parts of interning at Pacolet Milliken are the people and experiences. Everyone is extremely willing to explain and dig into topics pertaining to the commercial real estate field. My best learning experience at Pacolet Milliken so far is having the opportunity to sit in on the Investor Committee Meeting. I learned about various projects and the underlying vetting process that goes into planning/making efficient dispositions and investments. Henry Wang, Power and Infrastructure Intern, Economics Major, NYU My favorite part of interning at Pacolet is the culture because everyone has been super kind and warm to me since day one, and that motivates me to come to the office every day (special shoutout to our Vice President Tyler, who will always patiently answer my questions). On top of that, really enjoy snacking during downtime! I really enjoyed learning about the renewable energy finance space from an insider’s perspective. The internship provides me unparalleled opportunities to access first-hand data and resources, receive mentorship, and learn from veterans in the space. It’s also very exciting when newspaper headlines - such as supply chain constraints in the solar industry, or a surge of power demand from data centers - is being discussed in meetings I attend.
