Allow me to reintroduce myself: Parabola is the spreadsheet alternative where you combine the data running throughout your company and create automated processes. Parabola’s got a new and improved look and message, and we’re so excited to finally show what we’ve been working on. Our CEO and founder Alex Yaseen wrote about the “why” behind it all, and it’s all about showcasing the amazing things our customers have brought to life. About us
Parabola is the spreadsheet alternative where you combine the data running throughout your company and create automated processes. Pull in data from any source you can imagine—from scattered spreadsheets and tools, to emails and PDFs—and build logic that replicates the manual work you do every day. Use our canvas to combine and transform your data, and surface the results to the right people at the right time so you can do more with the data you rely on. In the process, you’ll codify the steps for every workflow you manage so they become repeatable, shareable, and usable for the whole team. Create solutions for the problems you’ve always wanted to solve, and make your work more shareable and impactful along the way. Parabola is proud to serve companies like Flexport, Sonos, Uber Freight, Brooklinen, and Chubbies and is backed by OpenView Partners, Matrix Partners, Thrive Capital and more.

Everyone wants to work with carriers that consistently deliver on SLA performance, on-time delivery and billing accuracy. Unfortunately, that's much easier dreamed of than done. And while Parabola can't change the way your carriers do business, we can help you implement automated carrier scorecarding so you have better insight into how your carriers are performing. From there, you have the data and insights you need to make the best possible carrier decisions for your business. Learn more about why you should be scoring your carriers and find a template start doing it in Parbaola here: https://prb.la/4d8iYgI

Time for a 🎉 Product Update with Paul 🎉 Filtering rows and if/else logic are at the heart of every Parabola Flow. We’ve given both steps a massive upgrade to make them faster, easier to use, and more powerful. Our 'Filter rows' step now allows dynamic filtering based on dates, and the 'Add if/else column' step now gives users the option to edit column values and perform math functions based on if/else statements — all in a single step. These updates will come in extremely handy for almost every Parabola use case. But we're especially excited for users working with document parsing + digitization, because you can now 1) add more complex conditional logic and 2) set up additional validation rules to get the best possible output from the document. Try it out now in the app 😎 and let us know what you think!

Ready to incorporate AI into your ops tech stack but nervous about how to get your team comfortable with it? Then it's probably time to charge your AI "trust batteries," according to our founder and CEO Alex Yaseen. He recommends collaborating with AI the same way you might collaborate with a colleague: “One of the best ways to communicate is to just show your work and make some decisions together. That way you know if you’re talking about something totally different and can hash it out, or you might see that you’re looking at reality in the same way.” More on AI and automation through the lens of AY and Aaron Alpeter here: https://lnkd.in/geajxmwS

What he said ⬇️ Join us tomorrow at 1PM ET for a demo on how to get the most from Parabola's PDF parsing functionality. Register here: https://lnkd.in/gRXANkVd
Since launching a new version of our PDF parsing feature, our customers have parsed the equivalent of over 555 copies of The Great Gatsby. That’s over 100,000 pages of POs, invoices, shipping audits (and much more) for anyone who hasn’t picked up Fitzgerald since high school 😉 Users who have experimented with it have been getting incredible value, so I want to make sure everyone knows how they can leverage this feature to extract data from PDFs, automatically transform that data, and embed it into their existing processes and systems. We’re hosting a product demo on Thursday to do just that. Link in comments to register, or just drop a note and I’ll be sure to get you registered.
