Meet Annette! Annette (pictured right, with PATH Program Manager Jazmin on the left) is a second-generation jewelry maker and a widowed single mother. Her husband was an author and owned a bookshop, and they resided in a home in Silver Lake. After his passing, she struggled to support herself and eventually lost their family home. She then moved into her car and spent her days volunteering at a thrift store to cope with her new reality. Initially hesitant to reach out to an interim housing facility, she eventually sought the help she needed. She resided in the interim housing for a few months before being connected with PATH. A few months later, Annette was able to transition into her own apartment at PATH Metro Villas, a permanent supportive housing site. Now that she is settled in her home, she enjoys doing manicures, collecting vintage clothing, and making jewelry and homemade candy. 🍬 Live in LA? You can vote to strengthen the services that helped Annette make it home. Measure A or "The Bold New Way" is a countywide measure on the ballot this November! It will guarantee funding for the outreach and services that helped Annette, and increase affordable housing and homelessness prevention for people across LA. Register to vote (vote.gov) and vote YES on Measure A! #vote #yesonA #endhomelessness

Grateful for the warm welcome from the LOS OLIVOS ROTARY CLUB FOUNDATION last week! Our team gave a great presentation on PATH’s work in the Santa Barbara community to end homelessness. The Rotary Club's support was incredible—they asked insightful questions and even shared new connections to help further our mission! It was a pleasure to discuss our service model and policy goals with these impactful community members. Thank you, Los Olivos Rotary, for your partnership and enthusiasm! 💙 #endhomelessness #santabarbara

Our friends at Helen Woodward Animal Center visited our senior pet parents at Trinity in San Diego! 🐾 They know that pets are family members and were able to support our residents' cuddly pals with free health checks, microchipping, vaccines, flea and tick medications, and even spays and neuters. What an incredible way to help our senior residents in San Diego! 💖 If you want to help our residents in the San Diego area, email our Associate Director of Community Affairs, Sigrid Struben, at SigridS@epath.org.` #endhomelessness #petparents #sandiego
