We’re proud to support our owner community, Estes Park, in launching an innovative community battery storage project! As we advance our Resource Diversification Policy, we’re dedicated to collaborating with our owner communities to meet their unique needs with reliable, renewable energy and storage. In addition to its unique geography, Estes Park is faced with challenges like wildfires, high winds and flooding which threatens the local electric grid. As a result, this project received grant funding to support building a microgrid for the community. This project will help keep critical infrastructure—like the hospital—powered during severe weather events. We're working to strengthen Estes Park's grid resilience in partnership with the Colorado Energy Office and the Grid Deployment Office | U.S. Department of Energy. Together, we’re building a brighter, more secure future! 💡💚 #Community #PublicPower #PlatteRiver
