Today was a great day on the South Side! PMCS is honored to support the Chicago Transit Authority in the monumental Red Line Extension project. This initiative is set to enhance access and spark significant economic development. Today, we also celebrated the strong commitment from several key organizations signing on to the Equity in Infrastructure Project (EIP). We appreciate the Regional Transportation Authority of Northeastern Illinois (RTA), Illinois Tollway, WSP in the U.S., TYLin, and CDM Smith for making a commitment to supporting historically disadvantaged businesses, in addition to Chicago Transit Authority, Illinois Department of Transportation and Pace Suburban Bus who have already signed on. On May14th, Team PMCS attended the CMAA Chicago Chapter's Annual Project of the Year and Scholarship awards. Program Management & Control Services (PMCS), along with our partners of R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. and 2IM Group, LLC were awarded project of the year for contract less than $25M for our work on the Illinois Tollway's ISTHA – Move Illinois, I-490 and IL RTE 390 Interchange Roadway and Bridge Construction. Joseph Hunn, P.E. accepted the award on behalf of James Nutter. Special thanks to CMAA, Kevin Ahern, AVP, PE and Daniel Yerly P.E. project awards chair.
